DGFT, Ministry of Commerce – Government of India has now made it mandatory for Exporters to obtain COO through electronic mode on its E-COO portal. TSSIA is one of the Non Preferential E-COO issuing Agencies. Exporters can avail E-COO through the portal https://coo.dgft.gov.in

Obtaining Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

DSC needed for creating a login on E-COO portal should be an IEC based DSC, no other type of DSC will work.

The following steps are to be followed for the installation/preparing your DSC on your Computer

  • The following steps are to be followed for the installation/preparing your DSC on your Computer
  • You must Install Java 8 in your system. If not installed, you can download the and install it using any web browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, IE etc)
  • After installing java, Go to the program menu and search “configure java” and open.
  • Redirect to Security > Edit Site List > Click Add > Type “https://coo.dgft.gov.in/” and click Add > Click Ok.
